The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is pleased to announce that after a search process including internal and external candidates – including candidates outside the NYC area – we have selected Dr. Michelle Kraskin to be our Director of Audiology and Michelle DiMattia to be our Director of Speech-Language Pathology, both effective July 1, 2024.
Of course, Dr. Kraskin is well-known to our Department after many years of service, and we look to working with her in this new role.
Ms. DiMattia is currently the Supervisor of Speech and Hearing at Westchester Medical Center, and she has worked in both our medical center and at NYP/Columbia over a period of several years.
Dr. Montano will help both our new leaders over the next few months, and we are fortunate that he will be staying with us as a Professor after July 1, 2024.
